What We Do

Mission Statement

Family Bridges advocates for the right of children to maintain contact with parents and significant people in their lives.  Thus, our goal is to provide supervised parenting time and supervised child exchanges with the parent/adult with less than 50% of the residential responsibility for the child.

Who can make referrals?

  • Judge
  • Attorneys
  • Social/Child Protection Services
  • Domestic Violence Shelters
  • Therapists/Counselors
  • Law Enforcement
  • Parent/Family and Friends

Reasons for Referrals:

  • History of Domestic Violence
  • Foster Care Placement
  • Concerns of emotional, sexual, and/or physical abuse of children
  • Concerns about parenting skills
  • Unresolved conflict between parents
  • History of substance abuse
  • History of mental issues
  • Lengthy separation of child and parent or no previous relationship
  • Abduction concerns
  • Allegations of child access denial
